Sharon Zimbler is Montecatini’s Chief Executive Officer and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Sharon started her career at Montecatini in 2009 as a program therapist and took on an additional role as the Director of Utilization Review before advancing to the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2014. Sharon is the Vice President of the Residential Eating Disorders Consortium (REDC), an organization whose main goal is to ensure access to care and elevate standards of care across treatment programs by working collaboratively to address issues that impact the eating disorder community.
After receiving her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, Sharon began working on her Doctorate of Psychology degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. During her doctoral studies, she focused her research on the co-occurrence of Eating Disorders and Substance Abuse. Sharon has been an integral part of designing a one of a kind integrated substance abuse program for Acadia Healthcare’s Eating Disorder Division. Sharon has presented nationally and been invited to speak as an expert on eating disorders throughout the country. Sharon has extensive knowledge of the medical, nutritional and psychological aspects of eating disorders.
