Myofascial Release: Essential Techniques for Soft Tissue Mobilization to Alleviating Pain and Restoring Motion
In this live interactive webinar, we will explore how therapists can utilize manual therapy for myofascial pain and soft tissue tension problems. Myofascial pain can result from overuse, underuse injuries, trauma, and stress, leading to chronic symptoms that can persist for years post-injury. By using a gentle, soft tissue approach, you can identify motion restrictions through hands-on motion testing and palpation, and remodel adherent scar tissue to restore functional motion, gain flexibility, circulation, and postural alignment, and alleviate painful limitations.
We will cover the essenti...Read moreal techniques used in myofascial therapy, such as hands-on motion testing, palpation, and manual remodeling of adherent scar tissue, and demonstrate how to incorporate these techniques into a comprehensive plan of care. You will also learn how to differentiate myofascial pain and fibromyalgia, assess soft tissue mobility using skin glide, skin rolling, muscle play, trigger points, and palpation, and document mobility impairments, trigger points, pain, scar tissue mobility changes, and functional outcomes pre and post myofascial interventions. By the end of the webinar, you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to make a measurable difference for your clients and establish a reputation as an experienced clinician.
