WVAADC Recovery Advocacy Day

WVAADC, the Association for Addiction Professionals together with the Appalachian Recovery Alliance and the Behavioral Healthcare Providers Association present Recovery Advocacy Day on February 14, 2022.


Join us either in person or virtually, by selecting the appropriate ticket type at registration.  This interactive workshop with legislators and top presenters in our field will enrich participants knowledge regarding advocacy, policies and standards for the Substance Use Disorder population and their families.


The Agenda for the day is under development but topics/speakers include "State of the Nation" remarks by Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director of ONDCP; updates on credentialing; 2 Panels:  One of WV-DHHR officials and another including key legislators; Medicare Addiction Parity; Evidence-based Prevention Models; and Cannabinoid/Opioid Connection
