Brenda Stebbeds has been a licensed massage therapist and small business owner in Oregon for over 15 years. Well known for her work in Oregon’s wellness community, Brenda founded a massage retail shop, Urban Therapeutic operating from 2010-2022, where she not only sold industry products, but created a wellness space for professionals and students to collaborate and learn.
In 2016 she became an adjunct instructor in the Massage Therapy Program at Lane Community College and in 2019 at Rogue Community College, where she found a true passion for education. Since 2016 Brenda has taught both pre licensure courses, and over 60 continuing education trainings for massage therapy professionals in the subjects of: Business, Marketing, Ethics, and Cultural Competency.
Ethics; In this self paced online continuing education course a review of the code of ethics set forth by our governing board will be presented, including where to access current resources to maintain awareness of ethical issues. Methods will be presented as a means for accessing and utilizing one's moral compass, setting or repairing boundaries to create the foundation for a successful ethical practice.
