Unraveling the Acronym was created to provide an exceptional, affordable, in-depth education opportunity for behavioral health professionals working with LGBTQIA2+ clients and their families. Going beyond proper pronoun use, this conference aims to help professionals understand the lived experience of their LGBTQIA2+ clients and offers a safe space for skill-building, tough conversations and self reflection. Over the two day conference participants will have the opportunity to learn from highly experienced thought leaders, activists and advocates from around the country who work to educate professionals, validate the experiences and discrimination of the LGBTQIA2+ community and help businesses around the world create affirming spaces.
