Policies

ICM welcomes
feedback and the opportunity to address participant grievances. If a solution
cannot be arrived at with a participant's instructor, they may make a written
appeal founder & director, Jamie Marich and team at
support@instituteforcreativemindfulness.com. Any grievances are addressed at
monthly meetings following the receipt of such a request, after which the ICM
team will be back in touch with a decision. Participants also have a right to
issue a complaint with any of the continuing education approval sources
connected to our trainings if they feel their rights as a learner have been
violated or disrespected. We hope we can arrive at a mutually agreeable
solution.

The Institute
for Creative Mindfulness will refund any training fees, less a $25
administrative processing fee, if you cancel two weeks prior to the
training. Cancellations within two weeks of the training will be eligible for a
50% refund, and the remaining balance can be applied toward a future training
with the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. Only medically documented reasons
or family deaths are considered as an exception to this policy. No-shows are
not eligible for a refund. In the case of inclement weather, should we
cancel the training, your registration would simply be moved to our rescheduled
date. If the rescheduled date isn't available for you we can offer you another
date or entertain your request for a refund. If you terminate your
training or need to leave it early for any reason, you are not eligible for a
refund. Attendance at the entire training is required for our program to remain
compliant with EMDRIA standards. Please see us with any questions on this
policy or for questions about how you can make up missed segments of the
training. All other situations will be handled on a case-by-case
basis.

All venues are
ADA compliant or willing to make arrangements. Please contact us at
support@instituteforcreativemindfulness.com if you have any questions or
concerns.
