Gateway Wellness Associates Grievance Policy

 

1.     Any participant of a Gateway Wellness Associates training who has a complaint must submit this complaint to Gateway Wellness Associates in writing to info@gwa-stl.com or mail to 1034 S. Brentwood Blvd, Suite 555, St. Louis, MO 63117

 

2.     Complaints may be related to any of the following:

a.     Refund requests 

b.     Complaints about course content 

c.     Complaints about facilities

d.     Complaints about non-receipt of certificates

e.     Complaints about miscellaneous occurrences

 

3.     Letter is reviewed by organizational members consisting of: 

a.     Social Worker Consultant and Gateway Wellness Associates CEO, Casey Limmer, LCSW 

b.     Operations Manager

 

4.     If 3rdparty insight is requested, our outside consultant, Jack Jacobsen, MSW, LCSW will be asked to step in and suggest a solution fair to all parties. 

 

5.     Participant is contacted to arrange for a meeting in person or by phone. In said meeting, participant is provided with an opportunity to voice their complaint and support their allegations, and provide proof, if they deem it necessary. 

 

7.     The decision on how to proceed is made democratically. 

 

8.     Information is shared amongst relevant Gateway Wellness Associates staff and utilized to improve future courses. 

 

9.     Gateway Wellness Associates responds to the participant with the decision in writing. 

Refunds may be requested for any reason up to 7 days prior to the event.  

The University Tower, where the training is to be held, is a fully accessible building. Free parking is provided to participants in covered and uncovered lots, in which handicap spaces are clearly marked. The path to the building from both the covered and uncovered lots are also accessible for individuals of any ability level. The doors to the building have the capacity to electronically open and shut. The training will be held on the 16th floor of the building, in a conference room that is accessible to individuals of all ability levels.   There is an accessible bathroom on that floor as well.  If further accommodations are needed (for example, large print handouts or special dietary requests), please direct those requests to info@gwa-stl.com.  We would be happy to accommodate!

In the case of a cancellation of this event, all ticket holders will be made aware via email.  Refunds will be issued immediately, but may take up to 2 weeks to process.  We will make every attempt to reschedule the event and keep everyone aware of date changes.
