Updated diagnostic criteria is consistently made within the mental health field. The DSM-5 and ICD-11 have added criteria for new disorders related to grief, Persistent Complex Bereavement Disorder (located in the DSM-5) and Prolonged Grief Disorder (located in the ICD-11).
