Dr. Zendegui is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. She is an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and a Clinical Supervisor at Rutgers University, where she supervises student clinicians in the Coping Cat as part of a research study. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Rutgers. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Child Psychology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine, and she completed her internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital/Zucker Hillside Hospital (now Northwell). Her externships were at Bellevue Hospital and Child Mind Institute. She previously worked as a clinical psychologist in the Montefiore School Health Program and in private practice. Dr. Zendegui's interests include increasing access to evidence-based treatments, and her clinical work focuses on evidence-based treatments for anxiety and eating disorders.
