New York Association of School Psychologists Conference 2020
Welcome to the 2020 conference of the New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP). Our theme this year is, “Building Bridges & Making Connections.” We have organized over 30 sessions of professional development over three days, which can be accessed live and via recordings afterward. Additionally, there are over 35 hours of NASP CPD credits available for attendees of live sessions. Topics at the conference span a variety of areas including assessment, consultation, intervention, and more. Our two keynote speakers are Harold S. Koplewicz, M.D. and Daniel C. Miller, Ph.D., ABPP. The NASP President, Wendy L. Price, Psy.D., NCSP, is also presenting at the conference this year. Please see the conference agenda and speaker pages to help you plan your schedule for the two and a half days of the conference. Please Note: Sessions will be recorded and will be available to view for one month after the conference concludes.
Charity: Each year, NYASP highlights and supports a local charity that aligns with our mission. We have chosen the League of YES (https://www.leagueofyes.org/) as our 2020 charity. The League of YES’s mission is to establish and sustain baseball programs for people (of all ages) with disabilities. Their objective is to provide an opportunity for those individuals to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our national pastime. Their goals are to help the league’s players develop social skills and increase self esteem, while promoting community support and sponsorship for the league.

Awards Celebration: Each year at our conference, we use this time to celebrate all of the great work being done across the state in school psychology training programs and by our professionals. Please join us for the NYASP Awards celebration on Thursday night from 6:15 – 7:45. The Awards celebration is open to all attendees and their guests at no charge.
