Medical Director, Laureate Eating Disorders Program
Scott E. Moseman, MD, CEDS-S serves as medical director of the Laureate Eating Disorders Program and investigator for the Laureate Institute for Brain Research. He is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who received his fellowship training at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Moseman has spoken internationally and throughout the country on topics related to eating disorders and child psychiatry. He has specific interests in eating, mood and anxiety disorders. Currently, Dr. Moseman collaborates with teams at the Laureate Institute for Brain Research conducting body image and eating disorder research.

Jacquelyn S. Meyer, MPH, RDN, LD/N, CEDRD-S, ATC
Jacquelyn is a registered dietitian nutritionist through the Commission of Dietetic Registry (CDR), licensed by the states of Florida and Maryland. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Dietitian Supervisor (CEDRD-S) through iaedp, and a Certified Athletic Trainer. She received her bachelor's of science in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from the University of Tampa, and Master's in Public Health Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, Jacqui is the Assistant Director of Nutrition and Wellness for Center for Discovery's PHP and IOP programs nationwide and maintains a small outpatient caseload at Integrated Care Clinic in St. Petersburg, FL. Jacqui has over 6 years of experience working with primarily eating disorders at all levels of care from inpatient through to RTC, PHP/IOP and outpatient. Jacqui enjoys working with all populations to help understand the joy of eating and nourishing the body, mind, and soul through food.

Hayden Blaine earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Social work with a minor in Sociology. She then decided to continue her education at North Carolina State University and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Hayden began her career as a therapist working in the impatient setting with children, adolescents, and their families. It was there that she began to develop a passion of working with individuals working through eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma related symptoms. Hayden has since continued working with clients at the residential, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. Hayden is a HAES aligned provider that values increasing self acceptance while challenging diet culture. Hayden uses an integrative theoretical approach to meet clients where they are at by utilizing solution focused, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices to meet clients where they are at to help them create their best lives.

Kristin Brooks is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and is a Nationally Certified Counseling with NBCC. She has worked with children, families, young adults and adults for over five years within and around the Asheville Area. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, a minor in sociology and concentration in natural sciences. She obtained a Master’s of Science from Western Carolina University in clinical mental health counseling. She is certified in Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR) and has provided therapy to a wide range of needs to include trauma, depression, anxiety, transitions, family systems and severe and persistent mental illness. My passion is working with children and their families to assist them in finding their voices, skills and autonomy to live a long and fulfilling life.

Samantha DeCaro, PsyD, is the Director of Clinical Outreach and Education for The Renfrew Center and is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at LaSalle University, and her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, CA. She has been with Renfrew since 2012, completing her post-doctoral residency at The Renfrew Center Philadelphia – Spring Lane, then holding the position of Primary Therapist, and most recently serving as Assistant Clinical Director. As Renfrew’s national spokesperson, Dr. DeCaro has been featured in the media as an eating disorder expert on various television shows, radio programs, podcasts, and online magazines. She is a frequent lecturer and serves as the Alumni Representative for The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia.
