National EDucational Training Day

 The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness presents the
National EDucational Virtual Training Day


Join us on Friday, April 30th from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST for a full day event that brings together experts from diverse fields in the treatment of eating disorders. The training focuses on topics including treatment from a Health at Every SizeĀ® & social justice lens, cultivating compassion in work with families of adolescents, nutritional considerations for athletes with eating disorders, the impact of food insecurity on recovery, and the utilization of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy in the realm of nature and ecotherapy. The training day will encompass five workshops with continuing education opportunities for psychologists, master's level licensed clinicians, social workers, and registered dietitians/nutritionists. The training is also open to students, recent graduates, and medical practitioners who are wanting to learn more and expand their skill set. Attendees will be eligible to receive up to 7.5 CE hours. (Please see CE Info tab for more information on who is eligible to receive CE credit.)
