Joy Wishtun, LPC

Joy Wishtun, LPC, pronouns xe/ xem/ xyr, is a licensed professional counselor serving and Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist serving as Clinical and Administrative Manager of the Early Childhood Family Services team through Jefferson Center for Mental Health. Joy has provided clinical services to children and families and consultation services to education providers in a school based setting, with an emphasis on child development, social emotional growth, parenting and caregiving support, attachment, and the impact of trauma and toxic stress. Joy is passionate about supporting families and caregivers through the strengthening of and connection to community providers.

Sorin L. Thomas is the Founding & Executive Director at Queer Asterisk Therapeutic Services. Sorin is a queer and non-binary transgender licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addictions Counselor with over a decade of professional experience serving LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.
