Food Fight: Eating Disorders and Adolescents

Eating disorders occur more frequently and have a higher mortality rate in adolescents than any other mental health disorder, affecting all socioeconomic groups, minority populations, and sexual orientations. Eating disorders are even more common than Type 2 diabetes in this age group. Yet eating disorders remain under-recognized, underdiagnosed and undertreated.
