The phenomenon of divorce has a large presence in modern-day America. - 1. Learn ways to work with families through the stresses and challenges of physical separation and divorce, and to optimize chances of a healthy adjustment for all family members.
- 2. Understand how to distinguish between systemic and non-systemic perspectives on divorce, and how to apply a systemic lens to the therapeutic process with divorcing families.
- 3. Learn about post-divorce co-parenting in the bi-nuclear family, and the role of the therapist.
- 4. Learn about assessment, psychoeducation and problem-definition in re-partnered/remarried and blended families.
