Zamil Salhab is a first generation Latinx-Middle Eastern Iraq War veteran. They became politicized post-military service – realizing and accepting the deep-rooted layers of white supremacy and patriarchy they inhabit and wielded through the structure of military service. Zamil has advocated and worked with vulnerable communities – unhoused men and women, those formerly incarcerated and veterans, and co-managed a veteran-run farm. They offer community trainings on NVDA, Safety and Community Defense, De-escalation.
Zamil is a Social Justice Consultant and co-founder of RACED Consulting – a cross-raced, cis-genderqueer facilitation team, actively engaging individuals, organizations, and community members to examine internal white supremacy culture, behaviors, language and more.

This training is approved for continuing education credits and cultural CEUs through National Association of Social Workers -New Mexico. The Licensee must maintain proof of continuing education courses taken for the past four (4) years. The New Mexico Regulations and Licensing Department, Boards and Commissions, Social Work Licensing Board reserves the right to audit a licensee’s continuing education records as it deems necessary. The New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Board and the NM Psychological Association accept approved social work CEUs for license requirements.
