Navigating Grief Healing and Resilience: The Heros Journey through Loss and Suicide

CE Hours 2

About this course

It can be very challenging for clinicians to properly identify and support clients who may be at risk of suicide. Inspired by his own personal story about suicide loss, grief, healing, and resilience, Dr. Marlon Rollins will share valuable knowledge and skills to enhance our understanding and approach to suicide prevention. Participants will learn how to better understand and interpret warning signs associated with suicide, as well as how they can play an active role in identifying and intervening in potential crises. Additional topics include creating supportive environments, developing safety plans, sharing resources for loss survivors, and using effective communication techniques in the discussion of topics related to suicide. The presentation will offer a compassionate and informative space for individuals to engage in meaningful discussions surrounding suicide, grief, and healing.
