Dr. Stephanie Setliff is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist living in Dallas, Texas. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders for over 20 years. Dr. Setliff received her medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her adult psychiatry residency in Dallas, Texas, and did advanced training in a child and adolescent fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She served as Chief Resident of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry while in her child fellowship. She has served as Assistant Professor at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and the Medical Director of the Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders at Children’s Medical Center. After developing and directing the eating disorders program at Children’s Health, she joined Eating Recovery Center in January 2014 to develop and open Eating Recovery Center in Dallas.

Dr. Anna B. Tanner is Vice President of Medical Services for Veritas Collaborative. She is a board-certified Pediatrician who has specialized in the care of complicated adolescent patients, in particular patients with eating disorders, for over 20 years. Dr. Tanner completed medical school and residency at Vanderbilt University, and then remained there to serve on the Pediatrics faculty in the Division of Young Adult and Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Tanner has been very involved in advocacy and education efforts and serves on national and international committees for eating disorders education. She speaks frequently across the United States on the Medical Complications of Eating Disorders, especially as they affect children and young adolescents. Dr. Tanner currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for Emory University School of Medicine and as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science for Morehouse School of Medicine. She is co-chair of the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED) Medical Care Standards Committee and a member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP) Certification Committee Task Force. Dr. Tanner is a Fellow in the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM), a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and a Certified Eating Disorders Supervisor. She has been named by Atlanta magazine as a “Top Doctor” every year from 2013 to 2021 and named by Castle Connelly as an Exceptional Woman in Medicine and one of America’s Most Honored Doctors.

Danielle Small is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience in the treatment of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and compulsive over-exercise. Danielle has worked in several clinical settings, including intensive out-patient, partial-hospitalization and residential eating disorder treatment. She has been a member of the Monte Nido team since 2013, working at multiple sites on both coasts. Danielle began at Monte Nido’s Eating Disorder Center of California in Los Angeles, was Clinical Director of Monte Nido’s Eating Disorder Center of Boston, as well as Clinical Director at Monte Nido’s adolescent residential treatment center in New York, Clementine Briarcliff Manor. She currently oversees all clinical programming for Monte Nido & Affiliates’ residential and day treatments in the Northeast region. Danielle is dedicated to helping clients learn to accept their bodies and embrace their spirit while also connecting to their intellectual curiosity. She endeavors to do so with humor, warmth and candor.

Angela Harris, LMSW is a primary therapist at Center for Discovery providing individual, group, and family therapy treating eating disorders. Angela earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications Studies with a focus in Human Relations from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Social Work from Texas State University. Angela is an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trained Therapist. This training enhances her skills in trauma-informed care and treating clients with PTSD. Angela has experience with a wide variety of populations across socioeconomic backgrounds, ages, and treatment settings. Angela is experienced in treating children, adolescents, and adults in residential treatment and private practice. She has clinical experience with eating disorders, substance use disorders, dual diagnosis, personality disorders, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Angela utilizes CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, harm reduction, family systems theory, and motivational interviewing in her work with clients. These are the lenses through which she understands each client's experience and supports them in exploring their own values. Angela uses a holistic approach to healing with the foundation of a biopsychosocialspiritual perspective. She is experienced in working with interdisciplinary teams and in guiding clients to explore their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Angela strives for clients to experience a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate connection in therapy. Angela is under clinical supervision of Ruth Guerreiro, LCSW-S.

Leading Alsana’s clinical quality activities, clinical data systems and clinical training, Dr. Nicole Siegfried is a licensed clinical psychologist and a certified eating disorder specialist. She enjoys working with the Alsana team as they are a group of people who are real, committed, and believe in the important work of helping people recover from eating disorders. She believes that those who want to go to treatment where you are truly seen and not just as a number, but rather a person who is struggling, then Alsana is the right place. Nicole also highly values the clinicians as they are trained in a variety of modalities, because they realize treatment is not one size fits all. Nicole is a recognized leader in the field of eating disorders and serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at Alsana. She is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Alabama at Birmingham and has also served as Associate Professor of Psychology at Samford University. Nicole is an international presenter in the field of eating disorders and suicide, and a member of AED and former co-chair of the Suicide AED Special Interest Group. Nicole has almost 20 years of experience working with patients with eating disorders and helping to transform their lives.

Dr. Katie Chadwick is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 2014. Throughout her graduate training, Dr. Chadwick’s clinical training focused on a specialization in treating individuals of all ages with traumatic life experiences. Dr. Chadwick has extensive experience and training in crisis intervention, as well as treating a variety of disorders including mood disorders, dissociative disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma. She has completed additional training in utilizing the following therapeutic approaches: Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, as well as multicultural and relational approaches to treatment. She is most passionate about tailoring treatment to the specific needs of her clients and empowering clients to achieve their goals. Dr. Chadwick’s mission is to cultivate a safe and positive treatment environment for clients and their families, supported by a treatment team founded on hope, authenticity, and integrity who will walk with you on your journey to recovery.

Amber Parris, LICSW, CEDS, is the Senior Director of Clinical Services at Alsana. Previously, Amber worked as a primary therapist at a residential treatment center before joining Alsana in 2013 to start up the Birmingham PHP/IOP Program. In her current role, she provides oversight to therapists, participates in programmatic structure/development, and leads multidisciplinary team meetings. Amber received specific training in treating persons with eating disorders with modalities including EMDR, DBT, and Prolonged Exposure. She has a special interest in exploring the intersection between eating disorders and intimacy/sexuality, and helped develop a curriculum that addresses body image issues for people with severe eating disorders.
