This presentation will explore the intersection of mind and body in trauma-responsive, addiction treatment. In order to move through the constrictive, reactive and habitual processes of addiction, the client must be supported in the expansive, exploratory yet grounding aspects of recovery. Particular focus will be on coping strategy of curiosity as it relates to connection and social engagement.
