Clinical Supervision

Date: July 13 - 16, 2022

Join us!  Each session is 1pm-4pm Eastern Standard Time

Providing competent and relevant clinical services, for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, is both an art and a science. While it’s possible to learn the basics in school, the art of therapy develops in the field and can prove challenging. Clinical supervision, by design, is meant to guide, support, and direct supervisees as they tackle these and many other growth and development issues. Clinical supervision is a safety net where the supervisee learns by doing, without risking harm to their clients; supervision is personalized to the needs of the supervisee and has many of the same concerns and needs that we see as clinicians.  This two-part workshop will explore the numerous facets of clinical supervision, with the intent to offer advanced guidance on how to adapt one’s clinical supervisory style to the complex needs of diverse supervisees.
