She is the recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Award by the United Nations Association. Her work has been featured on Yahoo, BBC, NPR, Sunday Times, CNN, CW, ABC, The New York Times, Forbes. She regularly consults on books and television shows, including HBO’s The Young Justice.

Nadine Kassity-Krich is Faculty at the Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science & Beyster Institute for Nursing Research, University of San Diego. She is the MEPN Admissions Coordinator and a Clinical Assistant Professor. Her passion for nursing and commitment to social justice has led USD to implement the Holistic Interview Process. Nadine has a variety of clinical and academic expertise. Her interest grew in looking beyond the medical condition at the relationship between clinical medicine and spirituality. She co-authored a book called, “First Heal Thyself.”

Bixby Marino-Kibbee [they/them/theirs] is a licensed clinical social worker &
Director of the Center for Gender Affirming Care at Rady Children’s Hospital.
They have worked in the fields of social services and mental healthcare since
2005, providing LGBTQIA-affirming care to youth and adults, and their families.
As a mental health clinician, Bix has worked with individuals across the lifespan
including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults and their families in a
variety of clinical settings.

Bix spent five years working with families impacted by systems of
care including child welfare and juvenile probation through wraparound
services before joining the San Diego LGBT Community Center as the Director
of Behavioral Health Services in 2015. At The Center, Bix led a team of twelve
clinicians providing outpatient individual, couples, and family therapy to
LGBTQIA and HIV/AIDS-impacted individuals. Through this role, Bix focused on
addressing the needs of transgender and non-binary youth and adults, by
increasing access to gender-affirming mental health services and helping
transgender and non-binary individuals navigate access to healthcare systems.

Dr. Bradshaw is a psychologist at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital on the child and adolescent inpatient unit (CAP3). He is a supervisor for their APA doctoral internship, supervising interns within CAP3 unit, child and adolescent assessment clinic, and chemical dependency detox unit. Dr. Bradshaw operates a part-time practice, providing therapy to youth and families and evaluations for CWS. Dr. Bradshaw is a graduate of UNLV where he worked on treatment and research of a family-based therapy for substance use disorders.

Nancy R. McGinley, MD, MPH, is a board-certified psychiatrist and current chief fellow of UCSD's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program. She was recently selected as an AAAP/SAMHSA REACH Scholar and has been accepted to UCSD's Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship (2023-2024). Dr. McGinley is most passionate about working to end the stigma that often surrounds mental illness in ethnic and minority communities. She also has a special interest in the intersection between childhood trauma and early substance use in adolescents.

Dr. Willa Marquis is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in child and adolescent anxiety and OCD treatment. She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at UCLA and postdoctoral training at the UCSD School of Medicine/Rady Children's Hospital. Dr. Marquis has served as Clinical Supervisor at Rogers Behavioral Health San Diego. Dr. Marquis leads a team of psychologists in providing evidence-based care to youth and adults with anxiety and OCD through her practice, Marquis Child Psychology, in San Diego, CA.

Dr. Sara Conley is a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from NIU University and completed pre-and-post doctoral training with Rogers Behavioral Health. Dr. Conley is a team Member of Marquis Child Psychology and the Lead of Child and Adolescent Services and NOCD where she is responsible for developing and delivering training on the treatment of pediatric OCD to a multidisciplinary, international network of mental health providers.

Dr. Drea Letamendi is a clinical psychologist, with degrees from Cornell University, UCSD, and UCLA. For 3 years, served as the Director of the Resilience Center at UCLA. She has a private practice as a behavioral health advisor for the gaming, visual effects, and entertainment media industry (Riot Games, Warner Bros., Disney). She has written publications about the positive impacts of media storytelling on mental health. Her latest publication with Springer is titled, The Force Awakens: Mindfulness-Based Therapy Using Star Wars.
