After the Assessment: Levels of Care and Why They’re Important

Join us for a continuing education event hosted by Accanto Health and presented by Jillian G Lampert, PhD, RD, MPH, FAED. There is no fee to attend this course.

In this presentation, we will review eating disorder levels of care and why it’s important to be familiar with level of care options when working with clients who have or may have an eating disorder. How do you know when it’s time to refer to a specialty provider for an assessment or a higher level of care? How can you present those recommendations to families and individuals in a way that underscores the importance of treatment an
...Read mored helps them understand the interruption to their usual life schedules? How do families know what to expect at any given level of care? What levels of care does insurance cover? What kind of transition supports do clinicians and families need to flow as successfully as possible between levels of care? These and other questions will be addressed to help equip providers and clinicians, particularly those in outpatient settings, with the tools they need to support their critical work.
