Anna Governale, LMFT
Anna Governale completed her undergraduate degrees in psychology and religious studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2002. She subsequently began working in the mental health field as a mental health worker at a residential treatment center for eating disorders for 5 years, while acquiring her master’s degree in clinical psychology. Anna completed her master’s program at Antioch University, Los Angeles. After graduating, Anna began working at a community services agency, serving underprivileged communities in the inner cities of Los Angeles, providing in-home services to children, adolescents and families. After gaining experience working with this diverse population for 3 1/2 years, Ms. Governale realized that working with eating disorders was her true calling and something she was genuinely passionate about. Anna began working for Reasons in May of 2011 as a program therapist, and has also served as the program manager for the inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient programs at BHC Alhambra. She is currently the Reasons Director of Residential Services. She is DBT trained, and pulls from a variety of therapeutic orientations in her work with clients to assist them in their journey to wholeness and healing.

Jamie Earnhardt is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. She is a Be Body Positive facilitator and the creator of an 8-week class for folks who are seeking a kinder relationship with their bodies. Her work is trauma informed and grounded in body justice. She is passionate about helping individuals and healing professionals explore personal and systemic barriers to body liberation in their personal and professional lives. Her private practice, groups, and classes are currently based online.

Skye first became interested in Chinese Medicine while living in Taiwan in the late 90s. It felt so simple, accessible, and powerful. After continuing to participate as a patient for many years, she graduated from Daoist Traditions College in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Chinese Medicine, learning about all the fascinating things including acupuncture, herbs, meditation, qi gong, nutrition, lifestyle and other self-care. It has been an honor and joy to join her clients on the road of self-discovery and healing, in all the ways that can take place.

Dr. Fogarty is the Director of Yoga at Accanto Health. She is also a lifelong learner, trauma-informed registered yoga teacher, and registered nurse. She is passionate about eating disorder recovery, facilitating yoga/mindfulness groups, and supporting the yoga team at The Emily Program. Some of her favorite things to share in yoga/mindfulness groups include: somatic movement practices, mindfulness practices, breath practices, yoga philosophy, therapeutic yoga postures, traditional yoga postures, and relaxation practices.

Dr. Fogarty earned her doctorate degree in Nursing at The College of St. Scholastica. She completed 500 hours of intensive yoga teacher training at Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) through Yoga Alliance. Dr. Fogarty is also currently studying to become a certified yoga therapist.
