Each professional is responsible for the individual requirements as stipulated by his/her licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please note: You must attend "live" (in real-time) to earn CE credits.

After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website. This link will be sent to the email account you used to register for the event.

Upon accessing the CE-Go "attendee dashboard", you will be able to:

Obtain event materials
Complete evaluation forms for the event
Download your continuing education certificate in a PDF format

Physicians in pediatrics and family practice, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Dietitians, Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Health Educators, and other healthcare providers working with patients with eating disorders.

Commission on Dietetic Registration

This activity approved as a continuing professional education activity by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

American Psychological Association

Accanto Health is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Accanto Health maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

National Board for Certified Counselors

Accanto Health has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP no.7166. Programs that do not qualify are clearly identified. Accanto Health is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Joint Accreditation Provider

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Accanto Health and VCU
Health Continuing Education. VCU Health Continuing Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American
Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Association of Social Work Boards

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, VCU Health Continuing Education is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. VCU Health maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 15 continuing education credits.

Social distancing and proper hygiene practices are strongly encouraged. We will be monitoring CDC guidelines for mask usage as we get closer to the event.

If a grievance arises pertaining to continuing education activities or processes, please contact outreach@accanto.com as soon as possible so that the concern can be addressed in a timely fashion.

Grievances may include, but are not limited to, concerns regarding payment and refund requests, course content, workshop offerings, facilities, non-receipt of certificates, or other miscellaneous occurrences.

Virtual Conference Policy

Accanto Health reserves the right to change the Symposium to a virtual format if an in-person event is deemed unsafe due to a disease outbreak, severe weather, or any other scenario outside Accanto Health's control. In the event of a format change, Accanto Health will communicate to attendees as soon as possible.

Refund Policy

Registrants may cancel and receive a refund if the cancellation request is received prior to the start of the conference. No refunds or credits will be issued on cancellation requests received once the conference begins. All refund requests can be sent to outreach@accanto.com.

Attendance Policy

All attendance will be monitored and recorded. Due to accreditation guidelines, continuing education credit will not be awarded to participants who do not attend a presentation in its entirety. Participants not meeting this time requirement will not be awarded continuing education (CE) credits. Evaluation of each session will also be required in order to obtain any continuing education (CE) certificates.
